Real Estate Community Update
Farmers' Market at Mission Bay every Wednesday . Shop the Farmers' Market every Wednesday for fresh and healthy California-grown fruits and vegetables, fresh pasta, smoked fish, baked goods and live plants. Located across from Mission Bay Housing on the Plaza at Gene Friend Way.
Orthopaedic Institute
The new 42,000 rentable square feet (RSF) Orthopaedic Institute has
opened! Located in leased space at 1500 Owens Street across from the Mission
Bay Campus, the premises include clinical exam space, an ambulatory surgery
center, an MRI suite, the Human Performance Center, an orthotics and prosthetics
shop, and academic offices. The Institute opened its doors on September 14,
2009.
ATM Service Available at Mission Bay. A new ATM room at the Mission Bay Housing's Hearst Tower is open for use by the public. The room’s ground level entrance is adjacent to the plaza at Gene Friend Way and Third Street. Access to the ATM room is provided when a debit or credit card is inserted into the door lock. Bank of America and Wells Fargo automatic teller machines have begun service. These machines are the first ATMs to provide banking services in the Mission Bay neighborhood.
654 Minnesota Street Occupied. More than 40,000 square feet of office space was vacated at 3130 20th Street at the end of September 2008 when administrative offices were relocated to the university-owned building at 654 Minnesota Street. The space is now being marketed for lease by the building’s owner.
