Laurel Heights

As part of its efforts to reduce long term occupancy costs, the Laurel Heights campus was ground leased to The Prado Group, Inc. and SKS Partners LLC, under a developer partnership agreement for a 99 year pre-paid ground lease. The agreement was the first of its kind in the UC system, and includes a space lease of 360,000 feet back to UCSF. UCSF intends to fully vacate the building by 2021 when new facilities are completed at Mission Bay.
