UCSF’s facility at 95 Kirkham, originally built in the 1950s, is under renovation for seismic safety improvements and other updates, including a dry lab and support space suite, offices, conference rooms, and breakrooms. A roof replacement, ADA upgrades and fire and life safety system upgrades are also part of the project.
This work supports the UCSF mission by providing a building with seisimic improvements for the UCSF community.
Construction is scheduled to continue through summer 2023, with occupancy in September 2023. The general contractor is Rodan Builders.
The $8.5 million project scope includes adding new interior plywood shear walls, remodeling the interior, replacing the roof and painting the exterior of the building.
- Work hours are weekdays 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- The building’s parking lot will be used for contractor access and staging
- Pedestrian access to the courtyard will be closed
You can contact UCSF Real Estate Project Manager Conor Neville with any project questions and concerns.
