New Hospital Building

Over the next several years, UCSF Health plans to invest $1.6 billion in modernizing the facilities at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, including the construction of a new hospital building, to ensure that future generations of children have access to cutting-edge research-backed care in a healing environment.



Parnassus Central Campus Site Improvements (PCCSI) Project

UCSF is embarking on an important endeavor to create a welcoming space that will lead to the “heart of campus” at Parnassus Heights.



Administrative Support Building

95 Kirkham Seismic Retrofit and Renovation

UCSF’s facility at 95 Kirkham, originally built in the 1950s, is under renovation for seismic safety improvements and other updates, including a dry lab and support space suite, offices, conference rooms, and breakrooms.



Parnassus Research and Academic Building (PRAB)

HSIR Improvements Program

A program of projects to improve the Health Sciences Instruction and Research East and West towers began construction in fall 2022.

The HSIR Improvements Program consists of three projects:



Bayfront Medical Building and Illinois Street Garage

Construction of a new UCSF clinical facility and parking garage began in Mission Bay in April 2021. The Block 34 project is located south of the new UCSF Wayne and Gladys Valley Center for Vision (WGVCV) and bounded by Illinois, Mariposa and Third Streets. Construction is scheduled to continue through August 2024.
