At UCSF Real Estate, our Campus Design & Construction, Health Design & Construction, and Heath Major Capital Projects teams are responsible for the design and construction of UCSF’s varied and wide-ranging physical environments.
The UCSF Real Estate Building Design Standards are a comprehensive set of design standards intended to support a cohesive design language, a unified design approach, and a comprehensive resource database for the design and construction of UCSF’s diverse project types.
The goals of the standards are design quality, construction quality, cost-effectiveness, design flexibility, efficiency, functionality, practicality, and durability. The application of these standards supports continued design excellence across all UCSF sites and buildings.
Visit the Interior Design Standards website for a curated collection of best practices and standards that support architects and designers in their interior architectural design projects for UCSF campuses.
