The Osher Building is a 48,000 square-foot 5-story medical office building located at the corner of Divisadero and Post Streets at the UCSF Mt. Zion campus. The Building is a joint project between the School of Medicine and UCSF Health, and houses the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and the Division of General Internal Medicine. The Osher Center offers a dynamic approach to health, healing and prevention by integrating modern medicine with established practices from around the world, and presents innovative research through an ongoing series of education and training programs. The Division of General Internal Medicine delivers high quality primary and preventive health care and conducts innovative, population based and epidemiological research.

The Osher Center space includes clinic, research, education and yoga rooms, and a roof top Japanese healing garden. The General Medicine space includes 40 exam rooms with clinical support areas, precepting and conference rooms, and academic offices. The Osher Building’s design is responsive to the surrounding neighborhood in both its size and use of brick veneer and Trespa wood resin materials, and the building utilizes sustainable building practices to achieve LEED Silver certification. Construction commenced in April 2009 and was completed in October 2010.
