The Unifier team uses ServiceNow to manage all support requests. A request may be to resolve a specific error/issue, update project-related attributes, training requests, process improvement ideas, or feedback. To ensure your request is routed to the correct support group, email to the appropriate address llisted below.

When submitting your request please follow these best practices:

• Provide a short but specific subject line that indicates the project and/or process
• Include project number(s), record numbers, and specific error message(s), when available.
• Provide as much detail in your message as possible to understand the request
• Include screenshots as email attachments if possible/appropriate
• Only send to the appropriate support email address on the TO: line and do not include other email addresses on either the TO: or CC: line.  (when others reply all back to a message, this ends up creating multiple requests for the same issue)
• If you need to follow up on a request, reply back to the notification email and do not alter the subject line. Alternatively you can monitor your requests directly through ServiceNow on the View My Tickets page.

Archibus is UCSF's Space Management System. It is used for the coding and classification of space and its attributes such as space assignment and occupancy. The Space Analytics team in Business Intelligence is responsible for the UCSF Campus data management of more than 7 million square feet of UCSF space. The team maintains the space database record at UCSF, working with campus departments and partnering across UCSF Real Estate to ensure graphical consistency with the space inventory and the overall accuracy of campus space records. The team also coordinates with and reports to the University of California Office of the President.

If you are a Coordinator in Archibus, log into Archibus and click on the Space Request Form. Complete the form and click on submit. Your request will be routed to your Control Point Strategist for review.

If you are not a Coordinator in Archibus, please contact the Space Coordinator in your department and they can complete the form for you. If you do not know who the Space Coordinator is for your department, please contact your Department Manager.

The Space & Capital Planning unit in Campus Planning prepares 10-year Capital Plans for both State-funded and non-State funded major projects. The staff develops these capital plans on an annual basis, working closely in coordination with leadership from the four Professional Schools (Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy), UCSF Health, Finance, UCSF Real Estate, Facilities Management, Campus Life Services, and Budget & Resource Management. State-funded projects at UCSF tend to include seismic and life-safety building improvements and modernization of aging infrastructures. Non-State funded projects include construction or renovation of built space for health sciences academic functions and support; infrastructure; auxiliary enterprises and fee-supported facilities; and the UCSF Medical Center. Non-State funded projects are funded from auxiliary revenue, campus equity, gifts, debt, and other non-State sources. The Capital Plan is updated annually and submitted to the Office of the President, which incorporates the Capital Plan in a systemwide report to the University of California Regents.
